The Houston Airport System hosted a community initiative to raise awareness about human trafficking, emphasizing the importance of knowledge in rescuing victims and preventing future occurrences of this heinous crime. Human Trafficking is a multi-billion-dollar enterprise that adversely affects every sector of our community. Spreading knowledge and awareness is key to combatting human trafficking. 

The event featured notable speakers, including representatives from the U.S. Department of Transportation and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, alongside survivors of human trafficking who offered firsthand insights that fostered a deeper understanding of the issue and the need for collective action. 72% of survivors have successfully integrated back into society due to aid from victim advocacy and support groups. We advocate for prevention, protection and partnership.
