Economic Development Resources

On the Economic & Development Resources page you will find a report provided by our partners Lonestar College North Houston Economic Development Center. The report has data and information on the follow topic section: Population & Demographics | Economic Indicators | Wage Trends | Cost of Living Index | Industry Snapshot | Top Industries | Education and Employment Growth

Environmental Resources

On the Environmental Resources page you can find: Houston Area Research Center’s mission to provide independent analysis on energy, air, and water issues | Bayou Land Conservancy’s Strategic Conservation Plan | Houston Parks Board’s Bayou Greenways and community programs | The Texas Infrastructure Report Card

Transportation & Mobility Resources

The purpose of the Strategic Mobility Plan is to Identify mobility projects which are in need of either financial support or political/public support. Selected projects are to be within the North Houston Association (NHA) service area, and their completion will positively impact one or more of the following issues: mobility, safety, and economic development, and have an element of achievability.

Water Resources

The North Houston Association is a founding member of Houston Stronger, which today, works to find solutions to regional flood control by diligently working to ensure these plans include projects to help create a safer future for us all.

One of NHA’s 2023 legislative objectives was to win support for the Flood Infrastructure Fund (FIF) and continued funding for the Regional Planning Groups.

Legislative Resources

On this page you will find your regional and local legislatures, their next terms, and their elected websites. Our hopes are that with this information our membership will feel more informed on the issues facing our area and know who to get in touch with to help connect and influence the right policy at the right time.

Helpful Links & Community Partners

On our mission to connect our region we have made many valuable partners along the way. To say we wouldn’t be where we are today without them is an understatement. Check out this page to see just a few of the many organzations that have helped us make our mark.
