Greens Bayou Corridor Boundaries
As shown in the map below, the general limits of the Greens Bayou Corridor might ultimately extend in an approximate 5-mile band following the CenterPoint high-voltage power line from US 290 north of FM 1960 on the west and the upstream end of Greens Bayou to the juncture of Greens Bayou with the Houston Ship Channel (Buffalo Bayou) at the southeast downstream end. This Corridor is subdivided into four segments:
• West Reach ( US 290 to Veterans Memorial Highway )
• North Reach ( Veterans Memorial Highway to Union Pacific Rail Line)
• East Reach (Union Pacific Rail Line to US 90)
• South Reach ( US 90 to the Houston Ship Channel)
