Lone Star College

The 2014-2015 academic year at Lone Star College opened with a fall enrollment of almost 83,000 students in credit classes and a total enrollment of 95,000 including continuing education students. Lone Star College added 33,000 students from fall 2007 to fall 2014, a 68 percent increase, making it one of the fastest growing community colleges in the nation and the largest higher education institution in the greater Houston area.

The system encompasses a geographic area that spans 11 school districts, 1,400 square miles and includes more than 1.9 million residents. LSC serves this dynamic area with six comprehensive colleges, seven satellite centers and two university centers. Lone Star College campuses are LSC-CyFair, LSC-Kingwood, LSC-Montgomery, LSC-North Harris, LSC-Tomball, and LSC-University Park.

Lone Star Corporate College

Lone Star Corporate College partners with global corporations to provide customized training, open enrollment courses, and professional seminars. We focus on the energy, computer technology, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Training is also available for retail, hospitality, school districts, health care organizations, non-profits, and many other industries.

Lone Star College Energy & Manufacturing Institute (LSC-EMI)

LSC-EMI is a resource in a multitude of industries including oil and gas, alternative energy, power generation and distribution, chemical plants and refineries, industrial and commercial maintenance, mechanized and automated production industries, welding, applied research and development, and many more. LSC-EMI offers customized, hands-on, competency-based technical training and education.
