Patricia Matthews PE
Patricia Matthews, P.E., is an Associate Vice President and Project Director with AECOM. She has been with AECOM for 32 years (beginning with Turner Collie & Braden Inc.), working in the areas of water resources, transportation, and land development. For the past 20+ years, she has performed/managed/directed environmental planning and permitting services for various transportation, public works, water resources, land development, environmental restoration, and other projects, including many in the North Houston area.
In her current position, she provides direction, management, and quality control/assurance for natural resources planning studies (engineering and environmental) such as environmental assessments and impact statements, noise and air quality analyses, socioeconomic impact studies, wetlands/waters of the United States delineations, Section 404/10 and related permits, planning and design of wetland creation and mitigation projects, threatened and endangered species studies, cultural resources studies, environmental site assessments, and others. She has planned and conducted numerous public involvement activities in conjunction with environmental studies and other projects, including public outreach programs and public meetings/hearings.
Ms. Matthews is a graduate of Purdue University, with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BCSE) degree. She is married to Robert Martin and they have two sons. Her hobbies are running, yoga, reading, and traveling to historic places.
